What is the 11.11 sale?
It started in China as Singles' Day. The date is four "ones" in a row, so students began marking it as a day for single people, and online shops turned it into a sale. Today it's one of the biggest shopping days in the world.

Some stores run it for 24 hours, some stretch it over a long weekend, and some skip it completely. There's no sign-up or special card. When is the 11.11 sale in the UAE?
The main day is Wednesday, 11 November 2026. Prices often change at midnight, so if you're after something that sells out, like a popular trainer size, it's worth checking late on the 10th.
A few stores give their app users early access a day or two before. Others keep the sale going until the weekend. It really depends on the store, so check its app on the day instead of relying on last year's dates.
One thing that helps: put what you want in your cart or wishlist now and note the price. On the day, you'll see straight away whether the 11.11 price is actually lower.
Should you buy on 11.11 or wait for White Friday?

How to use a code on 11.11
Copy the code from the card, open the store's app or website and fill your cart. At checkout, look for the box called "promo code", "coupon" or "voucher", paste it and press apply. Before you pay, make sure the discount actually shows in the total.
If it doesn't apply, it's usually one of three things. The code is for new customers and you've ordered before. The items are already on sale and the code only covers full price. Or your cart is under the minimum. The card tells you which applies, and if the code still won't work, tap the thumbs-down after revealing it so the next person knows.
A few things we've learned
Make a short list before the day. Countdown timers are built to make you panic-buy, and a list keeps you honest.
Check the price a week before. A "sale" price is only a deal if it's lower than what the item normally costs.
Use the app if the store has one. A lot of UAE stores save their early access and best 11.11 prices for app users.
