The 12.12 sale lands on Saturday, 12 December 2026, which in Kuwait is the second day of the weekend. It's smaller than White Friday, but it's the last big online sale day before the year ends, and a decent time to pick up winter clothes and year-end gifts.

What is 12.12?
Think of it as 11.11's little brother. Online shops in Asia added a second "double date" a month later, one last push before Christmas and the New Year, and apps carried the idea to the Gulf.
In Kuwait it lives mostly on your phone. A few electronics shops print 12.12 catalogues that run for a week around the date; fashion apps treat it as one more weekend of markdowns. Nothing to sign up for. If a store's in, the prices simply drop.
Is 12.12 worth waiting for after White Friday?
Mostly not, if you've already seen a good price in November. White Friday on Friday, 27 November 2026 and Cyber Monday three days later are still the deepest discounts of the season. 12.12 rarely beats them on the same item.
Where it does help is timing. Coats, knitwear and boots that weren't on sale in November may be reduced by mid-December. It's also close enough to the New Year that a gift bought on the 12th will arrive in time.
So: if it's something you skipped in November because the price wasn't right, check again on 12.12. If you're waiting on a phone or laptop you already saw cheaper, don't. Prices often don't go back down to their November lows.
