12.12 is on Saturday, 12 December 2026, the first day of the UAE weekend. It's the last of the year's big online sale days, and the 12.12 sale in the UAE is smaller than White Friday, but it's a good day for gifts, winter travel bits and anything you missed in November.
Most of the 12.12 sale UAE deals are online. Stores put them on their apps and websites, often from midnight, and a coupon code on top still works at most of them.
Where 12.12 sits in a busy season
By the time 12.12 comes round, you'll have been through a lot of sales. 11.11 is on Wednesday, 11 November. noon's Yellow Friday, its name for its White Friday sale, runs from Thursday, 19 November to Monday, 30 November 2026, with the biggest day on Friday, 27 November. White Friday and Black Friday fall on that same Friday. Then UAE National Day is on Wednesday, 2 December.
12.12 comes ten days later. The big electronics deals are mostly behind you by then, and stores are thinking about clearing winter stock and catching people who shop for New Year, birthdays and trips.
Dubai Shopping Festival usually opens in December too, but that's mostly about malls and raffles. 12.12 is an app-and-website thing.
Is the 12.12 sale worth waiting for?
For a phone, a laptop, a TV or a washing machine, no. White Friday is the sale for those. If you see a good price on 27 November, buy it then.
For clothes, trainers, perfume and toys, 12.12 is fine, and sometimes better. Anything that didn't sell during November tends to get cut again, and returned orders from November go back on sale, so sizes that had gone often show up again.
And if you're buying for a trip over the school holidays or a New Year's gift, 12.12 gives you time for delivery without paying for express.

Gifts that travel well: perfume and beauty
Perfume is an easy gift, and it ships well. Deraah does Arabic fragrances and gift sets, and Al Dakheel Oud is the one for oud. For skincare and makeup, Bloomingdale's has a code on full-price beauty, which matters if you're buying a brand that's rarely discounted.

Flying out in December?
If you're travelling over the holidays, an Airalo eSIM saves you the roaming bill, and you can set it up before you leave. Staying here with family visiting? EZ Hire rents cars by the day, week or month, and its code changes with the length of the booking: longer rentals get a smaller percentage, so check the card for your dates.

Outdoor weather: trainers and sportswear
December is when the UAE gets outside again, for runs, hikes and padel. Adidas has a code on your whole order, and Squat Wolf is a gym brand from Dubai with one too. Under Armour is good for running gear.

Clothes for cooler evenings
Jackets, knitwear and long sleeves are finally useful in December, and fashion apps are where 12.12 discounts tend to be deepest. Styli gives new users more off than returning ones, and its code only works in the app, so download it before the day. Namshi pays cashback on any order, which adds up if you're buying for the whole family.

Toys and kids
Dabdoob is a toy shop with a code on the whole order. Mumzworld covers the practical side, from nappies to car seats, with a code capped as the card shows.

Everything else: noon and Cartlow
If your list is all over the place, noon has most of it. It has one code: new customers get the bigger cashback, existing customers a smaller one, and noon works out which you get. Two cards, same code. Our guide to noon codes has the steps if you've never used one there.

Missed a phone deal in November? Cartlow sells refurbished and open-box devices, and its code takes a little more off, up to the cap on the card.

When a code won't stack with a 12.12 price
On a sale day, this is the usual reason a code fails. Some codes only work on full-price items, so on a day when everything is reduced, they may not apply at all.
A few of our UAE codes are built for exactly this. MyProtein has a code that works on top of its site discounts. Bloomingdale's has a separate code for its fashion sale, alongside the full-price one above. H&M has a code that covers sale and non-sale items, so it still works when prices are already cut.

Watch the minimum spend too. Go Sport's code needs a bigger basket and leaves out tech, bikes and nutrition, so a sale-day cart can fall short.
Before Saturday
12.12 starts at midnight at a lot of stores, which means Friday night. If you're after one thing in one size, check then.
Add items to your cart a few days early and note the prices. That's how you tell a real 12.12 cut from a sale sticker on the usual price.
Turn on notifications for the one or two apps you actually shop on. Early access and short flash deals are usually announced there first.
Check the return window on the product page. Sale items sometimes get a shorter one.

No. It's just a shopping date. This year it happens to fall on a Saturday, so most people are off work anyway.
