To use a Bloomingdales promo code in the UAE, fill your bag on bloomingdales.ae or the app, open the bag, paste the code into the promo code field and apply it before you pay. The discount shows in AED in the order summary. If it doesn't, it's almost always because something in the bag isn't covered.
That last part matters more at Bloomingdale's than at most stores. The code we have works on some sections and not others, so it pays to know which before you start adding things.
What Bloomingdale's is good for
Designer and contemporary fashion, shoes and handbags, a big beauty department with niche perfume and premium skincare, plus kids' designer wear, fine jewellery and homeware. It's where you go for a label you can't find on the big marketplaces, or a gift that needs to look like a gift.
It isn't the cheapest place for basics, and it doesn't try to be. The code is about taking something off a purchase you were already planning.
One code, three cards
You'll see three Bloomingdale's cards below. They're the same code. It's listed three times because it covers three different parts of the store: full-price beauty, full-price fashion, and fashion that's already on sale. Bloomingdale's works out which applies to each item in your bag.

Now look at what isn't on the list. Beauty appears at full price only, so don't count on the code for a lipstick that's already marked down. Homeware and jewellery aren't on any of the three cards. If your bag mixes those with clothes, expect the discount on the clothes and check each card's terms for the rest.

How to apply it
- Tap Show code on any of the three cards. It's copied for you.
- Add your items on bloomingdales.ae or in the Bloomingdale's app.
- Open the bag and find the promo code field in the order review.
- Paste the code and apply it.
- Read the order summary line by line. The discount should sit against the eligible items, in AED.
- Pay only once the number looks right.
Apply the code after the bag is final. Changing quantities or removing an item can reset it.
Why the code didn't work
Your bag only has items the code doesn't cover. Sale beauty, home and jewellery are the usual ones. Swap one item for a full-price beauty or fashion piece and try again to confirm.
Some brands sit outside promotions. Luxury houses often set their own rules; Bloomingdale's own Amber points, for example, can't be earned on CHANEL. If one designer item refuses the code while the rest of the bag takes it, that's why.
You're shopping in the wrong country. Bloomingdale's runs a UAE site and ships around the GCC. Make sure prices are in dirhams before you paste.
There's a typo or a trailing space. Paste rather than type.
Ways to pay less at Bloomingdale's
Count to 500. Standard delivery is free across the UAE on orders of 500 AED and above. If you're at 460, it's often smarter to add a small beauty item you'd buy anyway than to pay for delivery.
Join Amber. Bloomingdale's is part of the Amber Rewards programme, so you earn points on what you spend and can redeem them later, at checkout. Beauty buyers can also use Bloomie's Beauty Rewards.
Split it if you need to. Tabby lets you pay in four interest-free monthly instalments on orders between 200 AED and 10,000 AED, and Tamara is there too. The code still applies; you're just spreading the total.

Before you pay for beauty
Beauty can't be returned unless it arrives damaged. Neither can lingerie, underwear or earrings. Everything else has a 30-day return window from delivery, in its original packaging. So test a new perfume in store first if you can, and buy the full bottle online with the code once you're sure.
If you pay cash on delivery and later return something, the refund comes back as a Bloomingdale's gift card, not cash. Pay by card if you think you might return it.
FAQ
Amber points are a payment method at Bloomingdale's, so you redeem them when you pay, after the code has already taken its share off. One doesn't cancel the other.
