Privacy Policy

dealz.plus is a directory of discounts and coupon codes offered by other retailers. There is no account to create and no contact form, so the only personal detail we ever hold is an email address, and only if you type one into the newsletter box yourself. We never hold your name or your phone number.

We measure how the site is used in aggregate, and we count how often each offer is clicked. Neither of those records who you are.

• Analytics. On the live site we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read, which country visitors arrive from, what kind of device they use and which site referred them. This reaches us in aggregate; we do not view or store individual profiles.
• Offer clicks. When you use a button that opens a retailer, we add one to that offer’s click count and write a single record holding the offer’s identifier, the word "click" and the time. Nothing about you is stored beside it — not your IP address, not your browser, not a visitor identifier. These counts tell us which deals are useful; they cannot be traced back to a person.
• Your email address, if you give it. The newsletter box in the footer stores the address you type, the market and language of the page you typed it on, and the times you subscribed and last changed it. Nothing else is recorded beside it — not your name, not your IP address, not what you read on the site. It is used to send you the emails you asked for and for nothing else, we do not pass it to anyone, and you can ask us to delete it at any time by writing to support@dealz.plus.
• Nothing else. We run no advertising pixels of our own, we build no visitor profiles, and we never sell data.

• Google Analytics sets cookies (names beginning _ga) to tell repeat visits apart. You can refuse them in your browser, or install Google’s opt-out extension, and the site will work normally.
• A session cookie exists for staff signing in to the administration area. It is never set for ordinary visitors.
• When you click through to a retailer, that retailer and its affiliate network usually set their own cookies so the sale can be credited to us. Those cookies are theirs, and their privacy policies govern them rather than this one.

We rely on a small number of providers, and they process data only in order to run the site:

• Google — Analytics, and Firebase for the offer database and image storage.
• Vercel — website hosting. As with any web host, its servers keep short-lived request logs that can include an IP address; these exist for security and reliability.

These providers operate internationally, so data may be handled outside the country you are reading from.

Analytics data is retained under our Google Analytics settings and is aggregated. Click records contain no personal data and are kept for as long as an offer’s performance history is useful. Hosting logs follow the provider’s own short retention periods.

You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser, and you can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google’s browser add-on.

If you want to ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, write to support@dealz.plus. We will answer honestly, and in most cases the answer is that we hold nothing tied to you, because we never collected it.

This site is meant for adults who shop online. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
