The 12.12 sale in KSA falls on Saturday, 12 December 2026, so this year it lands on the weekend. It's the last big online sale day of the year, and it comes about two weeks after White Friday.
That timing changes what's worth buying. The 12.12 sale in KSA is better for clothes, trainers, perfume and gifts than for a new phone, and a coupon code on top of the sale price still works at most of the stores below.
What is 12.12?
It started in China as "Double 12", a follow-up to the 11.11 Singles' Day sale a month earlier. Online shops there wanted one more big day before the year ran out, and the idea spread across Asia and then to the Gulf.
In Saudi Arabia it's an online sale. You'll see 12.12 on app banners and in push notifications, not on mall posters. Nobody runs it centrally, so each store decides whether to join, how much to cut and how long to keep it going. Some do 24 hours. Others stretch it over the whole weekend, and a few skip it.
How 12.12 fits after Yellow Friday and White Friday
November is crowded for online shoppers in Saudi Arabia, and 12.12 comes at the end of it:
- noon's Yellow Friday runs from Thursday, 19 November to Monday, 30 November 2026, and it's live from the evening of the 18th. Yellow Friday is noon's name for its White Friday sale, and it's the biggest sale noon runs all year. The biggest day is Friday, 27 November.
- White Friday itself is Friday, 27 November 2026, with most stores joining in.
- Cyber Monday follows on Monday, 30 November 2026.
- Then there's a quiet week or so before 12.12 on Saturday, 12 December.
By the time 12.12 arrives, a lot of people have already bought the big things. Stores know that, and the 12.12 deals tend to lean towards fashion, beauty and smaller items.
Should you wait for 12.12?
If it's a phone, a laptop, a TV or a fridge, don't wait. Electronics usually get their deepest cuts in the White Friday window, and Yellow Friday is the sale to watch for them. Write down the price you see on 27 November. If 12.12 beats it, good, but don't plan around that.
If it's a winter jacket, trainers, perfume or a gift, 12.12 is a good day for it. Nights in Riyadh and the north get properly cold by December, so winter clothes are in season, and anything that didn't sell in November often gets marked down again.
Missed something in November because your size sold out? Check again on 12.12. Returned orders go back on the shelf in the weeks after a big sale, so sizes often reappear.

Getting the most out of 12.12
Since 12.12 falls on a Saturday, a lot of stores flip their prices at midnight on Friday night. If you want something that sells out, like a popular trainer size, check before you go to bed on the 11th.
Put what you want in your cart now and note the price. On the day you'll see straight away whether the 12.12 price is a real cut.
Some codes only cover full-price items, and some only work in the app. The card says which. If a code doesn't apply, that's usually the reason, or your cart is under the minimum.
Cashback and discount codes aren't the same. A discount comes off the total before you pay. Cashback comes back to you afterwards, so don't expect to see it in the checkout total.
Buying a gift? Check the delivery date before you pay. A weekend order on 12.12 can take a few days to arrive.

FAQ
Yes, but it's called White Friday here. Friday is a blessed day in Islam, so stores in the region avoid calling it black. It's on the same date as Black Friday, Friday, 27 November 2026 this year.
